I was out on a rainy night in my current town in a shopping center. All the businesses were closed but their storefront signs were still on. I was standing under a street light, hence the white glare which ending up looking really cool in this photo. The red is from a storefront lit sign reflection on the wet parking lot ground.

you have a great eye for finding the extrodinary in the everyday. very cool stuff.
I agree with Pixel Chix (great name) that’s what you do, and that’s why you love photography, ‘finding the ordinary and making it extraordinary’ you know what famous photograher said that?
Here’s your assignment from me, get The Americans – Robert Frank you will love it! I thought of Frank’s work since getting to know you, what and why you like to shoot. No the quote above is not Robert Frank
but the other one is one I lived by, not because of who said it, beside the fact he was an awesome photographer, but I love shooting this way: “If your pictures aren’t good enough, you aren’t close enough.”
